    Hi David,
    For the oatmeal smoothie do you use raw oatmeal or do I need to cook it up then add it? Also have you tried using a Magic Bullet to make these instead of a blend? I’ve used the blender to make green juice and it’s alot of clean up so I’m thinking of getting a Magic Bullet.

      Ah good question. I’ve heard Magic Bullet is good but have NOT tried it. I’ll order one and let you know how it goes. I use raw oatmeal (not cooked).

    David: Funny that you should bring up the topic of oatmeal and protein powder…  I always combine those two ingredients (along with a lot of other good things) when making my breakfast batch, and — in fact — I feel as if my oatmeal is missing something vital if I don’t add in a scoop of whey powder.  Glad to know that other folks are doing the same thing, and that I’m not the only protein freak out there.

    Also — and this is a bit of shameless self-promotion — but I love oatmeal so much that I actually posted a video up on YouTube a few months back which features my not-so-secret recipe.  There’s a brief mention of my company at the beginning of the video (“Nasty Clamps” — NOT porn, btw), but then I move on to the ingredients and preparation.
