One of the biggest questions I often get that you want me to cover is the art of building relationships, especially with difficult-to-reach people including best-selling authors, big time entrepreneurs, and online influencers/bloggers, etc.

Enter today’s guest, Elizabeth Marshall.

I took a pen and paper out today and wrote down what I think today’s guest Elizabeth Marshall is absolutely excellent at that we can all learn from as creative entrepreneurs. She is the master at building relationships. Seems to know everyone, everywhere all the time and this is possibly the most important: she’s extremely well liked.

And this isn’t fluff. Just take a look at a few things Elizabeth has done:

  • She helped Michael Port’s book Book Yourself Solid become a best-seller through her marketing and relationship-building strategies.
  • She launched successful “virtual book tours” for big time authors, ranging from Seth Godin to Michael Port.
  • She is the co-creator of Book Breakthrough NYC. A quick note on this: This is really a DREAM TEAM of folks to help you with your future book. I trust these fine folks more than anyone. Why? Because when my book Smarter, Faster, Cheaper came out, I hired Elizabeth to help organize my book launch and bring her huge expertise to the table. She is a freaking rock star.

For those of you who are considering, or immersed in, taking big steps with your ideas, message, and publishing dreams – there’s an amazing event coming up in the heart of Manhatten that may be exactly what you need. Check it out right here (affiliate link because I trust the heck out of this and know it will help aspiring creative entrepreneurial authors).

In this interview, I pick Elizabeth’s brain about building relationships. How does she seem to know everyone? How does she meet and stay in contact with so many great people? What relationship mistakes does she see over and over? This and much more. Enjoy!
