Rob and Kim MurgatroydA little bit different today on the show (and note that this was shot one day before my photo shoot, and photos and a BIG blog post are on its way).

I believe most of you know (probably through my big mouth) that I’ve been going through a massive body transformation over the past 90 days. I decided that I’d had enough of simply going to the gym and trying to “eat right” without incredible results. I wasn’t really fat, but I wasn’t in ridiculously good shape.

90 days ago I made a commitment to former guests of the show Rob and Kim Murgatroyd that I was going to bust my ass and get into ridiculous shape (and then maintain it).

And holy crap, I somehow did it. More than that, I’m hoping to help inspire you to make some kind of transformation in your life…be it personal, business, fitness, whatever.

In this sort of “reverse interview” with Rob and Kim, they drill me on the process and also transformations in general.

There will be a lot more about this in the coming days and I hope you will find all kinds of insight, ideas and more that you can use.

    I love the flip interview! Although… it was horrible to watch at work! Why? B/c I kept busting out laughing and people walking by my office would look at me like, “Working hard, huh?”.

    Now I know this was primarily about your physical transformation, or at least that was the main goal when you started. And I can appreciate the hard work and dedication it took to get into great shape.

    I’ve NEVER even REMOTELY looked like a fitness model, but I was able to hit the gym hard and put on 40lbs of muscle mass in 12 months. No supplements, just KILLING MYSELF in a gym 4 to 6 days a week 2 to 3 hours at a time for 12 months. And my target was very specific regarding muscle mass and time. I paid for a 1 year membership, hence the time. The weight… prior to starting I was 6′ 3″ and 160lbs. I looked like I had been starved to death. My goal was to hit 200lbs. I thought that would make me look “normal”. But at 160, I was already BY FAR the biggest person in my family. The Bickett’s are tall and skinny. So I had to KILL IT to put on weight. So this is a very much heart felt, JOB WELL DONE, DAVID! And Rob and Kim, Jet Set Body must ROCK (and I’m sure having yall breathing down his neck helped too!)!

    But here’s where I get REAL inspired, David. It’s with your LIFE TRANSFORMATION! Like I said in my post yesterday, this just inspires me to GO OUT THERE AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!

    Since yesterday I think I’ve emailed links to your photo shoot post out to around a dozen people. And I printed it (like I said) so I can see it when I’m at home. I’m transforming my life RIGHT NOW from employee to business owner. I don’t have all the details worked out, but I’M OUT THERE DOING IT and TRANSFORMING not only my life, but the lives of my wife and son as well.

    So to all of you, David, Rob, and Kim, thanks SO MUCH for bringing this story of life transformation to us. I intend on sharing the SUCCESS of my journey with the world in the near future (I love the idea of 90 day challenges in other areas… such as setting SIGNIFICANT goals for my new business and making them happen… I’M PUMPED!)!

        Give them all a try, in order, everyday. That’ll give you a more upright posture that’ll not only feel good, but give you better symmetry. The taller you stand the leaner you look. It’s like wearing a pinstriped suit all the time, even if you’re not wearing a shirt.

    I live in a small town with only two gyms: both have only treadmills,
    recumbent bikes, and Nautilus-style machines. Would that work for this plan?

      Honestly, David…probably not. This program requires a full gym (weights, etc.).
