Loved listening to this – so much fun that your Dad stopped you talking at times – brilliant information and great to hear a Dad & Son sharing really effective business concepts too πŸ™‚

    • David Siteman Garland

Thanks carol! Glad you enjoyed πŸ™‚

  • Randy is right – people are so appreciative of good service.

    • David Siteman Garland

      Absolutely!

  • David, just finally had a chance to listen to the episode. Awesome! Thanks so much for taking my question. I know I was pretty forward asking about numbers, but I’ve seen you do it several times, so I thought it’d be fun to turn the tables on you.

But, I completely agree with you and Tron (can we call your Dad Tron?). It’s not all about revenue. A saying I live by is, “Money and numbers follow, they don’t lead.” If you only care about money, you’re going to burn out pretty quick because in my experience it takes 5-10 years to become an overnight success. It’s the love of serving and teaching people, helping them have massive breakthroughs and “ah-ha” moments that keeps you going when you’re living off Pop Tarts and Ramen.

Having said that, revenue is a vital measure of the health of a business, and it’s great to hear yours is growing at the pace it is. I’ve been in your funnel for quite a while. Think it’s about time to do my part for the cause!

    • David Siteman Garland

Definitely. People that skew too far either way (only worrying about revenue or never worrying about revenue) end up in trouble.

Love it. Your dad *El-Tron-Ola*(my own name for him) is kind of *serious*…,..which is odd knowing who
his son is! hehe A GREAT team, here’s to many more years to come…….

    • David Siteman Garland

Haha, trust me he isn’t that serious at all πŸ™‚ He just has to get used to being on air LOL

  • I like Randy! He replied to my emails πŸ™‚
The photo of two of you reminded me of one of the interviews where you said: “I might or might not be wearing pants now”.

  • Also David, you mean every single one of 250 of your followers need to buy your product to have a 6 figure biz or just a percentage of them?

    • David Siteman Garland

      No it’s never everyone always a %

Hi David and Randy — great episode! You guy literally made me laugh out loud a few times, so well worth it. Randy’s point on the importance of customer service is spot on — we as a society have come to expect mediocre service at best. People want to feel important and the funny thing is…a little service goes a long way. PS…I can so relate to the hockey player roomy — my brother-in-law has hosted many players and let’s just say it’s been interesting. Take care.

    • David Siteman Garland

Glad you enjoyed S πŸ™‚ Haha, too funny. Gotta love the hockey players.
