    Forbes Riley was too hard to watch, she talked too much about herself rather than giving us a way to enjoy the interview!

       Glad you enjoyed it, Marina. And I get what you are saying, but personally I like (and I know a lot of people do as well) different styles. i.e. this one was more how-to. Forbes’ was more how she became so successful. I think both rock, but of course each one isn’t for everyone 🙂

    Fabulous stuff! I’m going to try this tonight! When after the first email is sent do you recommend sending the follow up email if I haven’t hear back? My normal rule is 1 week but I’m curious to know what you thought. Keep up the good work!

    I was curious about this method as most other websites about cold emails recommend your email should be no longer than four sentences. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks in advance 🙂

    What do you think about automating and scaling cold emailing efforts? I don’t think the general population realizes how viable cold emails really are as a marketing strategy.

    I usually tell people to follow these basic rules:

    1) Iterate. Send a batch a day for a few days until you know what works.
    2) Automate. Toutapp or for sending. for email gathering.
    LimeLeads + QuickMail work wonders. Seriously.
    3) Win or Lose, ask to be pointed in the right direction.

    Obviously these don’t apply when trying to directly after an individual or a huge sale – more for marketing a new product or site, or just getting market feedback. Excellent work!
