Today on The Rise To The Top: The #1 Non-Boring Business Show: Are you dominating Facebook? Do you want to dominate Facebook? (The answer is yes, by the way.) We have the master here today, Amy Porterfield, to teach us three things:

  1. How to grow your fan base, without begging for fans.
  2. How to create MASSIVE engagement (get people talking).
  3. How to turn fans into super fans (cape not included).

    Hi David,
Home Run Again! I first saw Amy Porterfield on your show several months ago and have continued following her.
The show was awesome and just a side note “loved the 3 things listed” that you/she was going to cover was great for us Type A’s. 🙂
AMY does a super job of being CLEAR and DETAILED and EASY to follow. I have taken so much of what she has taught in regard to Facebook.
Your reference to a “Cape” was perfect and I keep mine with me all the time. Always talking about YOU. Ears must be burning and it is not just brown nosing just ACCURATE compiments as ALL are True!
I have spent a year learning, practicing and modeling the abundant amount of information that the Universe has sent my way!
Have a Outstanding DAY!!!! Hugs Debbie

    • Thanks for the comment, Debbie. I’m sure David will keep doing the “here’s what’s in the interview” tidbit if it keeps helping folks.

FYI – I’m Lisa (David’s web VA), and I’m holding down the fort for him
while he’s on the move for a week. In case you’re wondering why I’m
commenting like I own the place or something. ha. 🙂

Deb as always love your comments and so glad you had so many great takeaways!

  • Wow… just… wow. That was some intense, high-value tips. Love the vibe between you and Amy, and the way you structured the interview in 3s.

I`m about to launch a new brand and I will definitely keep this stuff in mind for our facebook debut.Note: I was reading about fangating on Social Media Examiner, and it was pretty controversial stuff on how it may affect the economy.

Note 2: The moontoast infographic = hawt. Rock on 😀 http://www.moontoast.com/blog/the-anatomy-of-a-fan-infographic

      • I think yes, you’re on fire 🙂 Happy New Year David!

  • Hi David and Amy, Sending out the love for this interview too (and just to make sure your prediction was right!) It was full of tips!! I have to get the fans to move from personal to professional page and I loved her tip, so simple-why didn’t I think of that?!

    • Hi Monica! I know. I watched this interview and had a lot of “why didn’t I think of that” moments too. Thanks for your comment. 🙂

FYI – I’m Lisa (David’s web VA), and I’m holding down the fort for him while he’s on the move for a week. In case you’re wondering why I’m commenting like I own the place or something. ha. 🙂

      • Oh! Hello Lisa nice to meet you! Nice to see that cute little VA face of yours 🙂

    • David Siteman Garland

Sometimes it is the most simple tips that win 🙂 Hope all is well Monica!
