“Make money online to make money online to make money online” haha love it, this is a great great interview! some great info man, you ask all the right questions

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Hahahaha I’m glad you liked that quote. Thanks so much!

C’mon now, that sounds a bit desperate LOL

  3. AdamLehman says:

David, Just wanted to stop by and let you know how valuable what you’re doing is to me and my development. Even if I don’t have time to watch, I bookmark your posts and come back to them when I’ve got a moment to watch, listen & take notes.

    Keep up the great work!

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Thanks Adam that means a lot!

  4. Hey David – this is the first episode I caught and I’m hooked.

I’m usually disappointed with the information that’s presented in interviews and courses (not that it’s not great stuff – it’s just usually things I already knew).  I listened to the entire show, took notes, and at the end of the hour for the first time in a long time – wasn’t disappointed with what I learned.

Super high five to both you and Brian.

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Dawn – Super high fave back at you and always trying to make it something new and different 🙂

  5. The interviews keep getting better and better David! Best part is when Brian mentions you can use your Facebook as an opt-in via “Subscriptions” I didn’t even know that was possible! priceless info in this interview. Big thanks! =D

Regarding the awesomeness of the digital lifestyle / entrepreneurs. I’m excited to see how it evolves and shapes our planet over the next few years or centuries (considering how big an impact the industrial revolution was).

Great times lay ahead for all of us! =D

ps. I’m sold on the 5 minute marketing course (going to keep my eyes peeled for it!).

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Awesome, Leo. Thanks for the words of encouragement and so glad you got a bunch from it my man!

  6. Sbutler says:

    Another great interview.  Very practical.

Really enjoyed this interview. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but it seems as though you’ve been getting some amazing guests who are willing to dig deep into their systems and tactics and takeaways.

Although you worried me quite a bit in the beginning of the show with your opinion of online marketers/businesses, you cleared the air at the end.

Business is beautiful, when done with integrity and honesty and transparency. These kinds of interviews make that readily apparent.

Hopefully the sleazy, slimy, get-rich-quick hoodlums (good word, huh?) will become less and less effective and retreat into the shadows never to be seen or heard from again. (Too harsh?)

Anyway, thanks again for another excellent video. Tons of tips and tools that I’ll be using in my own business and sharing with my clients.

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Jason – Thanks so much. And that is exactly what I’m trying to do is really dig deep in these interviews.

Haha, yes, didn’t mean to scare you. I was, of course, referring to the really scammy, haven’t-done-anything-but-want-to-teach-you-stuff-they-don’t-really know which rears its head in every industry but especially social media & Internet marketing. But totally agree, they always fade away. Cream always…rises to the top 🙂

      1. Jason says:

“Cream always…rises to the top. :)”

I imagine you saying that as you give a wink and one of those point-and-pull-the-trigger/click-your-mouth gestures.

  9. This interview forced me to quit my workout and run home and work.

Seriously – I’ve owned Optimizepress for 8 months and never realized it had such an awesome membership system in it.  I’ve used it very successfully for sales pages but never even looked to see what else it can do.

Now I’m hard at work to have my new video products out here ASAP!

    Thanks DSL!

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Antonio – Sorry to ruin the workout haha 😉

  10. This video was shared with my by a friend. It is one of the most helpful videos I’ve ever seen. I’m going to start putting the advice to work on my book and create more digital product. Thanks man! I’ve already shared it with several others.

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

      Awesome, Dennis!

  11. David- Finally made time to watch this entire video… WOW… that was REMARKABLE…. You are so right about having success (selling shit) first, before you enter the marketplace with a product…. Thanks again for sharing!!!

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

BKJ- This was one of my favs too 🙂

  12. Janine Ogg says:

Hi David, this was my first show and I got a lot out of it. I’ll definitely flick it out to our small (but rapidly growing) tribe!

The questions that stuck in my head after the interview were about when Brian was starting out. I’d love to know how much he spent on setting up his business in the first few months, or at least until things really got rolling and he was making good dosh.

I guess my real question is, how much time and money did he have to put in first before he started getting such great results?  He hinted that at another job for a while at the beginning of it all – I’m guessing that was when it all began. Would love to know how long he did the ‘working on the side’ thing before it all started to rock and roll!

Not sure if Brian is available to elaborate but worth a shot.

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Hi Janine – Good questions. If there is ever an interview part 2 I’ll ask ’em 🙂

  13. Johnttnye says:

David, thought you should know that I went to the site this afternoon while listening to your show and I got a trojan horse virus.  I was able to get rid of it but it pretty much wasted the rest of my day.  Just a warning to other viewers or listeners of the podcast.

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

John – Thanks for the heads up. I’ll make sure to send that on to Brian to make sure they get it looked it. I know they were having a few issues with the website but didn’t know there was a virus or anything like that. Sorry that it caused a tough day!

    2. David Siteman Garland says:

UPDATE: Sent this to Brian and his team is looking into it.

  14. fonz says:

Great Video, thanks for sharing…. All the tools he mentioned are legit and the best out there, I use all of them ..he definitely knows what he is talking about..(not to be a dick lol but when you make your headline that long a user can’t tweet it out with out manually shortening it)

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Fonz – Thanks man. Yah, LOL I know (re long title). I just loved the title so went with it 🙂

  15. This is great – I’ve seen those ads pop up on my facebook page – so much more real now I know the man behind them!

    Thanks for sharing both,

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Definitely good to know the guy behind the ad 🙂

  16. Chris says:

Do you know what package brian uses for woo themes?

Great interview by the way, love brians marketing, it’s just fresh, simple and easy!

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

chris – wish I could help here…not entirely certain!

  17. me says:

Dude! you freakin’ rock. I’m making coffee at 1 am just so I can watch all your stuff!

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

You just made my night with that comment!!

  18. Rick says:

David, this interview was AWESOME!!! I just stumbled across your site when you interviewed Noah Kagan from AppSumo and have been trying to absorb as much information as time will allow.  Every time I think your interviews cannot possibly get any better the next show I watch proves me wrong.  Keep up the great work and thank you for such valuable information.

    1. David Siteman Garland says:

Awesome Rick, thanks so much for the kind words. GREAT to hear!
