Alright, time to get our tool on. Umm, that sounded bad. You know what I mean. Here is the thing: the technology available to entrepreneurs like all of us is ridiculous. I mean there is really something for pretty much everything.

And that is good…and bad.

Good in the sense that really any problem you need solving for has some kind of solution (and if not you can make one).

Bad in that there is a lot of choice and it is easy to get caught up in the technology. What separates a shiny red ball from someone useful is function. How does any given tool help you? Does it make you money? Save you time? Make your life easier?

So, here are 10 web tools that are more than cool. They are useful.

1. Tynt

What it does: Basically, Tynt allows you to get a link back to your website automatically anytime someone copies, pastes, and shares something of yours. It also has some great data on what is getting copied and how many times.

How much it costs: FREE

2. HootSuite

HootSuite What it does: HootSuite allows you to manage all your social media sites in one place. Plus, there’s all kinds of fun data and metrics to make sure you are maximizing social media.

3. FeedBlitz

FeedBlitz What it does: FeedBlitz (affiliate link) makes it easy to turn your content into a newsletter…in fact, automatically. I use it for our shows. When people subscribe via email, they receive show updates to their inbox (either daily, or weekly, based on preferences) automatically. I don’t have to lift a finger or create more content!

How much it costs: You can get a 60-day trial on us (affiliate link).
